Profile
The Department of Economics is a part of B.A Program (H.E.P) was started from the inception of the college, that is, in 1982 with a noble intention of creating awareness about the importance of studying Economics. It was served by stalwarts like Dr.K.Sivaram and Dr.U.Sankar .The department has always been in the forefront in inculcating Economics and industrial ethos by highlighting prominent Economic themes.

Bio-Note: A. Dastagiri, born in 1968 in Anantapuramu District, did his M.A.,M.Phil. (Economics) from Sri Krishna Devaraya University Anantapuramu. He passed SLET in June 2000 conducted by Andhra Pradesh college service commission.He is teaching Economics for UG students from 2000.
He was Member of Indian Economics Association since 1992. With rich teaching experience of 23 years, presently he is teaching Economics in SSS Government Degree College, Bukkapatnam, Sree Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh. He worked as Observer several times for SK University UG Exmas.
